Being the portrait photographer for these two Seniors has been a wonderful experience. It is one thing to be around a youth in their prime ready to head off to their next phase, but these youth are going to wonderful things in this world. We captured Curtis and Twaunkennyah's images at Winter Haven's Central Park on different days but the results are stunning.
Both Seniors chose a few outfit changes and the library next to the park makes it very convenient. I love this formal outfit on Curtis. The color really contrasted against the greenery and Florida sunrise.
Central Park is terrific as a location because you have the greenery and urban look with the bricks and streets for poses. The light is gorgeous as well.
Twaunkeyyah just graduated from Lake Region High School this past week. I loved that she had a countdown to the moments. Her family and friends supporting her transition from high school into starting her college career. She's relaxed, intelligent and has a great sense of humor.
We captured her images at Central Park at sunset. The lighting was terrific and filtered by the surrounding trees. Yellow was a wonderful pastel color that was highlighted by the sunset. We went down the nearby streets and captured some poses along the brick walls. The light reflected from the street onto her features.
Her last outfit was her casual but she dressed it up with a leather jacket that coordinated well with the green from her shirt.
I wish these two Seniors all of the best. They do not need luck because they have plenty of support from their families and friends. Please call if you need 2017 portraits. I love to work with my seniors to find outfits that compliment their style and a location that showcases this time of their life for their lifetime.
