We met Mitch's mom, Laura, last year when we captured his sister Samantha's senior session. This year, Laura has her baby boy graduating from high school and just like with Sam, she's so proud and supportive of all that he has accomplished. Mitch and Laura met me early Saturday morning in April at Little Harbour Resort in Ruskin, Florida. We used their pier and beach area to capture images representing this Mitchell Senior High School graduate. Mitch is very dapper and included a bow tie for his formal outfit. He switched gears into khakis, button down shirt and barefoot for the beach photos.
That is when we went into ACTION!!! Mitch is incredible with the soccer ball. Incredible!!! He is able to make it look as if it were alive in some fashion. He can manipulate the ball and we had to snag a few photos of him being a keeper which is his position on his high school team. Ouch!! He took some big dives, but kept on getting right back up.
We were able to make some awesome collages for Laura to enjoy. She ordered one in metal which was an excellent choice to highlight the photography. She also commissioned an extra-large print of Mitch with an inspirational saying. It's awesome to see this supportive momma standing behind the accomplishments of her son.
This past year, Mitch's high school team had made it to the State quarter finals and he was selected by the Tampa Bay Times and the Suncoast Conference as the best high school goalkeeper in the Pasco/ Suncoast Region. He also guest played on a U18 club soccer team and won the 2014 Sun Bowl soccer championship and his club team, West Florida Flames Elite won the Spring Disney soccer tournament. Mom said that Mitch would never share those things, but they are so very proud. He will be attending FIU in the fall with major interests in business and architecture and we wish him our best!!
